Have you ever wondered why you are here? Was it merely for you to be a cute little baby that brought joy to those around you at the time? Or was it to bring misery to a bewildered teenage mother forced to nurse the result of an unintended pregnancy? Or is there another reason?
What of all the other people who were born? Yes, the people who brought you joy, as well as those who have brought you pain. The people you know personally, and those you only read about in the newspapers or saw on TV and on Facebook. Why are they here? What will become of them?
Does it ever seem futile that you and everyone else around were born, will grow old, and then die? Some have at birth, some as children, some as adults, and many as feeble aged invalids? Why bother to be born a cute baby then? Why bother to strive for “success” in this life, only to age, decay and die?
The answer to these questions is not easy to appreciate today, but it can be easily found if you choose to believe the COMPLETE account given in the Bible concerning the creation of humanity, our subsequent fall into sin, and the masterful plan devised by our loving creator to secure our redemption.
Unfortunately, the plain truth as been deliberately obscured by the schools of this world, but God has provided a clear path for your salvation still. In the light of that path you’ll find the following answer:
You were born to prove that humanity combined with divinity can overcome sin in this life; and should you cooperate with God and prove this true in your own life (as our example Jesus did), you will be granted the right to eat permanently from that tree of life and thus live forever!
Jesus says it well: “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” Revelation 3:20-21.
